Sinn Féin Finance Spokesperson Deputy Pearse Doherty has today (Monday) slammed the Government and HSE over the ongoing problem of staffing shortages at a number of Donegal’s community hospitals.
Speaking ahead of the Seanad debate this evening on the fodder crisis, Sinn Féin Seanad Agriculture Spokesperson, Donegal Senator Pádraig Mac Lochlainn said:
“The hard lessons from this fodder crisis must be learned by the Government.
Sinn Féin Finance Spokesperson Deputy Pearse Doherty has today (Thursday) criticised the Government over the low uptake by Donegal based companies of state backed Lean Business Supports from Enterprise Ireland after it was revealed that of the 574 allocations made to businesses under the scheme since 2009, only eighteen were provided to companies in Donegal.
Mayo Sinn Féin Senator, Rose Conway Walsh, has told those gathered at the annual Easter Commemoration in Stranorlar that a new Ireland is possible.
Ms Walsh was speaking at the main Easter Commemoration in the county; the Drumboe Commemoration.
