Doherty Welcomes Commencement of Production at Gaoth Dobhair Health Food Company
Sinn Féin Finance Spokesperson Deputy Pearse Doherty has today (Thursday) welcomed the announcement made by health food company ‘Bia Beo Natasha’ that it will open its new production facility in the Gaoth Dobhair Business Park this week.
The announcement, which is expected will result in the creation of a number of jobs for the region, comes following the recent decision by the health food company to move its operations into the former Largo Foods factory.
Deputy Doherty said:
“I am thrilled by the confirmation today from Bia Beo Natasha Teo that it plans to commence production this week at its new high-grade food production facility in Gaoth Dobhair.
“The move will see the creation of a number of jobs for this region when the health food company begins its operations in the former Largo Foods factory in the Gaoth Dobahir Business Park.
“The company has become well known in recent years for its natural and healthy food products and organic snack alternatives and its decision to expand its operations to here in Gaoth Dobhair is a huge vote of confidence in the region and the local work force.
“I want to wish the company and its staff every success as it commences operations this week at its new facility in Gaoth Dobhair.”
